Match4Action connects individuals seeking to volunteer their skills with those in need of remote or local project support, advice, collaboration, and mentoring. CrowdDoing is a part of the M4A Foundation, and is dedicated to creating maximum social impact globally toward the resolution of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals defined by the United Nations. We address these goals and beyond through social innovation, the social enterprise sector, and systemic change. Our initiatives leverage micro-leadership, service learning, and multi-disciplinary collaboration, supported by diverse volunteer roles to change the world virtually together.


About Relational Capital:

Relational Capital believes that, organized correctly, members of trusted networks can help more capital reach socially impactful enterprises. Relational Capital aims to help individuals who already have the trust of UHNW/family offices/impact funds actively support transformative social enterprises, by harnessing their network to help them raise capital and provide ongoing support. We have active enterprises for which we complete comprehensive market and competitive analysis with a primary focus on impact. There are many ways to contribute and there may be specific enterprises, problems, or areas of research and analysis for which volunteers are most interested. Relational Capital places a significant focus on impact, covering a vast range of topics and pressing societal problems.


Role Overview:

A primary benefit of Relational Capital’s volunteer team is our diversity of backgrounds which contribute to idea generation, unique perspectives and valuable insights, and result in output distinct from traditional financial institutions.


The team consists of several sub groups, some of them with dedicated group leaders, such as Marketing, Data analysis and Investor Search.

The Volunteer Team Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless team operations, fostering high performance, and achieving goals through effective communication, adept leadership, and resource management .

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of group leaders.
  • Act as a point of contact between the team and upper management.
  • Keep stakeholders informed about project status and achievements.
  • Communicate timelines and expectations clearly to group leaders.
  • Facilitate internal team communication.
  • Organize weekly team meetings and maintain the volunteer group agenda.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the team.
  • Foster a positive team environment and motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best.
  • Ensure the team has the necessary tools and resources for success.
  • Monitor the performance of group leaders and projects.
  • Encourage the sharing of ideas and best practices within the team.
  • Provide guidance, assign tasks, and encourage open dialogue.
  • Assist in problem-solving and decision-making processes.
  • Give an overall status update of Relational Capital to the team of fellows and presidents.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

  • Experience in handling a team preferred
  • Experience and/or education in one or more of the following: Sustainability, life cycle analysis, market & competitive analysis, or investing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.

This role demands a dynamic individual capable of effective leadership, communication, and strategic thinking to drive the success of the volunteer team and contribute to the overall mission of the Relational Capital team and CrowdDoing.
