Volunteer needed for the local Hospice Program. Volunteers needed both administrative work in the office and for visits to both patients home and assistive living facilities. Hours are flexible service is rewarding, and for high school students this meets their volunteer requirements.

Description

Three Oaks Hospice provides end-of-life care in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Hospice care is designed for terminally ill individuals to provide them with comfort and peace during the remaining weeks or months of life. Hospice care consists of pain management and symptom control and your dedicated hospice team works together with your regular doctor to provide proper access to the medication and equipment you need. Emotional and spiritual support is essential to help ease your mind, and our family services give your loved ones added support. Hospice care is accessible in several different settings including your home, a relative’s home, or an assisted living facility so you can continue to live independently as long as possible with the added support you need to handle daily activities and personal care.
