Hospice can be a stressful time for a patient and their family. Pet Therapy visits offer an enjoyable
social activity that is beneficial for the patient and all members of the family. Pet Therapy visits:

* Provide a diversion from the normal hospital routine
* Promote a sense of play and humor
* Stimulate physical activity and social interaction
* Reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness

Current certification and insurance
Must be in good standing with certifying organization.
Annual certification and vaccination document
Friendly, outgoing
Organized, able to work independently
Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people

Description

Silverado Hospice goal is to maximize the quality of life through exceptional care and unmatched service. We provide world class care for all terminal diagnoses, 24 hour customer care support, unique programs (Memory Catchers and Essential Oils), as well as pre-bereavement and 13 month post-bereavement support. We go to wherever the patient calls "HOME" serving the entire Dallas/Fort Worth Area without regard to race, color, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability (physical or mental), communicable disease, or place of national origin.
