Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of underserved individuals in the Houston area? Join our team at UHPhealth as a Community Outreach Volunteer and be a part of connecting members of our communities to healthcare services!

Join us in outreach events to speak with community members about the types of care that UHPhealth can offer to themselves and their families.

We are in need of volunteers to help us set-up, clean-up, and oversee community events. Community Outreach Volunteers will be responsible for connecting UHPhealth to the communities we serve, both in South-East Houston and our weekly rural mobile clinics in Chambers county.

With your help, we can give Healthy Living to the communities we serve.

About UHPhealth

Location:

110 Rockleigh Place, HOUSTON, TX 77017, US

Mission Statement

Our mission is to promote healthy living among less privileged men, women, children, and seniors through health education, compassionate and competent services, training, and supported partnerships.

Description

UHPhealth is a member of the Texas Association of Charitable Clinics, and delivers affordable, accessible, community-based health services and education to underserved and uninsured communities. We strive to support the well being of our clients and have been providing care for less privileged and underserved communities since 2015.

At UHPhealth, we believe living involves all aspects of a person’s life. Our programs are aimed to serve families and individuals and improve social development and their overall well-being.

Being a Charitable Clinic means we operate with little to No state or federal funding. We are able to deliver quality care to the community with the help of staff members, including licensed physicians and nurses as well as clinical and non-clinical team members who volunteer their time.
