ASSE International Student Exchange Programs has openings for full-time and part-time Regional Area Representatives. Some positions are available for remote telework.

The ideal candidate has the following traits:

• Flexible and efficient in scheduling their time
• Has a positive attitude
• Has excellent communication skills
• Is involved in the local community
• Is outgoing, caring, enthusiastic, motivated, and a natural self-starter

• Has a desire to make an impact in the world
• Is comfortable using computers, the Internet, and social media
• Has a strong ability to recruit people and build a strong team of people
• Has a love for international education and culture

Do you live in Michigan and have a heart for cultural exchange? ASSE International Student Exchange Programs is looking for volunteer host families to welcome high school exchange students into their homes for the upcoming school year.

Hosting an international student is a chance to:

Share Michigan’s rich culture and values
Form lifelong bonds across borders
Create unforgettable memories
Help shape tomorrow’s global citizens

Our students come from over 30 countries and are excited to experience life in an American family. They bring their own spending money, medical insurance, and a spirit of adventure. All that’s needed from you is:

A safe, welcoming home
A bed (can share a room with a same-gender host sibling close in age)
Meals at home
Support, encouragement, and a warm family environment

We welcome all family types-single adults, retirees, empty nesters, young families, and everything in between!

Hosting options include:

• Full school year

• One semester

• Welcome family (4-8 weeks)

• Emergency placement
