ORGANIZATION: Fort Lee Library

  • 5 people are interested

The Fort Lee Public Library is seeking volunteer ESL tutors with experience teaching literacy/beginner-level students. The commitment is just once a week for 90 minutes during the Fall and Spring sessions. There are 10 classes in each session.

The library has a robust ESL program. The influx of new immigrants to Fort Lee has increased the demand for literacy/beginner English classes. This is a great opportunity to help newcomers develop the language and cultural competence they need to become independent and full participants in the community.
