Help A Couple Affected By ALS With Cleaning, Chores, or Errands (Fargo)

A 74-year-old man with ALS and his wife would love a volunteer to help them once a month with cleaning, household chores, or errands. Monday, Tuesday, or Friday afternoons would work best with their schedule for approximately an hour at a time. They do have a dog in their home.

If you have an extra hour each month to help some neighbors in need, we'd love to hear from you! This opportunity is part of the ALS Association's Family Assistance Program:

Description

What is ALS?

ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. ALS results in the progressive weakness of voluntary muscles which often leads to total paralysis. There is no known cause or cure for ALS. People with ALS typically live between two and five years after being diagnosed.

How does The ALS Association help?

We fulfill our mission by offering programs, services, and equipment free of charge to anyone affected by ALS residing in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
