Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking compassionate individuals to help brighten the day of patients and visitors.
Patient Support Volunteers play a vital role by delivering flowers, mail, and other donated comfort items to patients and guests. You would also assist patients and visitors with wayfinding, and support departments with mailings and special projects as needed.
This opportunity is a meaningful way to contribute to the community while creating a positive experience for those in need.
Shifts available are Monday or Thursday mornings, Wednesday afternoons, or anytime on Fridays.

Aspirus volunteers are women and men, ages 14-114, each with unique talents. Aspirus offers a variety of volunteer opportunities to fit anyone's interests and schedule. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity make a difference in the lives of patients and families, meet new people, develop friendships, cultivate skills, and build self-esteem while making a positive impact in our community.
Aspirus is a non-profit, community-directed health system in Wausau, WI. With more than 11,000 employees, Aspirus serves communities in northern and central Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. The system includes four hospitals in Michigan and 13 hospitals in Wisconsin, 75 clinics, home health and hospice care, pharmacies, critical care and helicopter transport, medical goods, nursing homes, high-quality affiliated physicians and a health insurance company.
