Pet companionship can benefit hospice patients in a variety of ways -- lower stress, improved mood and increased joy! If you have a trained pet who is gentle, friendly and loves people (with a history of visiting with the elderly, if possible), we would love to work with you! Pets must have up-to-date shot records and obedience training; pet therapy certification is preferred. Solace Hospice Care clients live in private homes, nursing facilities and assisted living facilities in St. Louis City, South County, North County, Webster Groves, Chesterfield, Ballwin, Des Peres, Eureka, St. Charles, St. Peters and Lake Saint Louis. Description
Solace Hospice Care provides end-of-life care for individuals who are terminally ill. We have an amazing staff of professionals that are very passionate about giving the best care possible. We service the following counties: St. Louis, St. Louis City, St. Charles, Jefferson and Franklin.
Our volunteers can do anything from direct patient care (if licensed), direct patient companionship, music therapy, pet therapy, massage therapy or even help in our office.
