Job Description : The DMV Music Alliance is looking for someone to run our community newsletter and email marketing campaigns

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute email marketing strategies to promote DMV Music Alliance and community partner initiatives, events, and resources.
• Plan and schedule email campaigns, ensuring timely and relevant delivery to targeted audience segments.
• Create engaging and compelling email content, including newsletters, event announcements, updates, and calls-to-action.
• Collaborate with the DMV Music Alliance team to align email content with overall marketing and communication strategies.
• Manage email lists, segmentations, and subscriber preferences to enhance audience targeting and personalization.
• Implement A/B testing to optimize email performance, including subject lines, content, and calls-to-action.
• Monitor email deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates, providing regular reports and analysis.

Requirements

• Passion for music, knowledge of the music industry, and a strong interest in contributing to the growth and impact of DMV Music Alliance.
• Experience in email marketing, preferably in the nonprofit or music industry.
• Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) and marketing automation tools.
• Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including audience segmentation, personalization, and performance tracking.
• Excellent written communication and copywriting skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to create compelling content that engages and resonates with the target audience.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
