The Regional Volunteer Coordinator oversees volunteer recruitment, engagement, and coordination within a designated region for HVA National. They play a key role in fostering community involvement and supporting organizational initiatives. They play a key role in fostering community involvement and supporting organizational initiatives.
We need our Regional Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, onboard, and train volunteers to support HVA National's programs and initiatives, coordinate volunteer schedules and assignments within the region, maintain communication with volunteers to ensure engagement and satisfaction, collaborate with internal teams to match volunteer skills with organizational needs, organize and oversee volunteer events, meetings, and recognition programs, monitor volunteer performance and provide ongoing support and feedback, maintain accurate records of volunteer activities and hours, and promote volunteer opportunities through various channels to expand recruitment efforts.
This is a volunteer position with an urgent need for these services to facilitate comprehensive coordination of all volunteers, ensuring that all necessary roles are filled.
Currently, we have secured the necessary communication channels and comprehensive software, to ensure the volunteer in this position is fully prepared and equipped.

Description
As a Third Party Survey Provider HVA has designed a unique, HIPPA compliant, member based Social/Advocacy web platform to carry out our mission.
It allows Members to regain a portion of the camaraderie they lost at separation as they chat with their peers on the timeline and meet at a variety of online and in-person events hosted by HVA, the VA and regional VSOs.
Members are encouraged to:
-Vote in their VA Clinic's 'How Was Your Day at the VA? poll
-Give an 'Atta-boy to their Clinic, or employee
-Discuss healthcare problems with others of the same clinic in HIPPA compliant forums
-Respond to online surveys co-developed with the VA
-Request advocacy under the Member Initiated Reporting Process (MIRP)
