We are looking for engineers who who familiar with developing for the Android platform, and has experience with Java or Kotlin, Firebase, and Android Studio. Volunteer will report to Chief Technology and Development Officer.
nenos, a technology nonprofit, is currently searching for Android App Developer Volunteers to help support the team’s development of a new social media platform. Volunteers should be proficient at developing applications for the Android ecosystem and have experience deploying apps to Google’s Play Store. Knowledge of deployment to the Google Play Store is necessary.
Responsibilities for this include:
- Assist in the identification and planning of new or scheduled features
- Help develop application program interfaces to support mobile functionality
- Work with the team to innovate the platform design and functionality
- Recommend and design new mobile applications, products and protocols
- Design and implement unit and UI tests to identify and fix bugs
