To support patients, families and staff through greeting, escorting or directing them based upon the site and location. Provide general information and patient room information as necessary in a positive and professional manner. Assist in additional tasks as appropriate.
Please note: Mayo Clinic has requirements for volunteering. Below is a list of some of these requirements.
- Completion of background checks
- Tuberculosis testing
- Proof of other immunizations (This will vary by state and volunteer role)
If you choose to not complete these requirements you will not be able serve as a volunteer.
