Hike For Good!

Come together with your community to make a difference! This flexible hiking challenge unites individuals, teams, and corporate groups to help send children fighting cancer to Camp Casco's life-changing summer camps.

Event Details

What: Take a hike of any distance to support Camp Casco's programs for kids affected by cancer.
When: Anytime in May 2025
Where: Anywhere in the world!

How It Works

  • Customize your hike challenge. Whether it’s a local trail or a destination hike like the Grand Canyon, hike location, distance, and difficulty level is completely up to you. Whatever you choose, it should take place in May 2025, in honor of National Cancer Survivors Day.

  • Engage your community. Community is at the heart of everything we do. Invite others to join your team to inspire your friends, family, and coworkers, and ensure that more kids fighting cancer can experience the magic of Camp Casco!

  • Start your journey. In early April, the adventure begins with a Virtual Kick-Off event! Weekly tips and tricks and an online hiker community will ensure you feel connected at every step of the way. Every dollar raised will get you closer to the next Milestone, unlocking an exclusive new prize and deeper insights into the impact of your hike.

How It Helps

Every dollar raised will help send childhood cancer survivors to Camp Casco in 2025.

Our camps make summer fun accessible to kids who have spent too much of their young lives battling cancer, from 24/7 onsite medical professionals to all-terrain wheelchairs.

Every program is provided at no cost to our families, including bus transportation, meals, and snacks. Our campers experience independence, increase self-esteem, build lasting friendships, and create priceless memories they'll cherish forever.

As a Trail Blazer, you’ll make this transformative opportunity possible for some truly deserving kids. And just like our campers, you’ll get to develop your own connections and community as dedicated supporters all over the nation hike for Camp Casco on National Cancer Survivors Day.

Program Perks

Our 2025 Trail Blazers will enjoy:

  • Customizable team and individual fundraising pages provided by Camp Casco

About CAMP CASCO INC

Location:

PO BOX 330, SUDBURY, MA 01776, US

Mission Statement

Camp Casco creates amazing camp experiences that build lifelong connections for children with cancer and their families.

Description

Camp Casco builds community for childhood cancer patients, survivors, and families in New England through amazing camp experiences. We create a space for kids to reclaim their childhood- to laugh and play. All of our campers have been affected by childhood cancer, and this unifying environment is liberating. At camp, cancer instantly becomes the least remarkable thing about you - a welcome relief for those who have felt defined by this label in everyday life.

Research shows that summer camps for children with cancer reduce disease-related anxiety, improve self-image, increase independence, build social skills, and ultimately improve psychosocial outcomes. We provide these benefits to New England kids free-of-cost, giving patients, survivors, and siblings the chance to make lasting memories and build lifelong friendships.
