ORGANIZATION: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

Long Branch Lake is looking for two (2) Visitor Center Volunteers to staff the lake Visitor Center on weekends, May through September. Duties include greeting visitors, providing lake and facility information, issuing America the Beautiful Passes, and answering phone calls. As well as custodial/grounds keeping duties such as leaf blowing, mowing, and weed trimming of the visitor center grounds and trail. Volunteers may also be feeding aquarium turtles and fish.


We are looking for energetic and positive individuals and couples looking to work in and around a visitor center setting, who enjoy helping visitors, and demonstrate flexibility and a desire to serve as part of a team.


All work supplies will be provided by the Corps of Engineers. Volunteers will be responsible for their own transportation. This position includes a full hookup site located next to the Visitor Center, in exchange for 20 volunteer hours per week.
