Mother Teresa said, "Each human should die in the sight of a loving face.". Unity Hospice believes no one should die alone.
Dying is a sacred, holy experience. As a NODA volunteer, you can serve as the bridge that helps a hospice patient cross from this life into the hereafter. We came into this life with the help of another human being. We believe you should leave this life with the company of another human being.
For many reasons, there are people who will find themselves alone as they near death. We are committed to being at the bedside of those patients whose family cannot be with them in the moment.
No one is born alone. No one should die alone.
We would love to have you on our team to serve those who have no one. We will provide you with the training you will need to serve a patient in those last days of their life.
