Mission Statement
Mission: Bududa America Foundation ("BAF") exists to support the operations of Bududa Learning Center (BLC). BLC teaches vocational skills to striving young adults, provides social services to orphaned and vulnerable children, and provides micro-finance grants to poor working women. By offering vocational education, we are creating a more equitable world.
Description
Are you ready to make a direct impact on lives in the heart of Bududa, Uganda? Bududa Learning Center is seeking dedicated volunteers to join our transformative mission. At the core of our work is the Bududa Vocational Academy (BVA), where we equip students with practical skills in carpentry, tailoring, hairdressing, and more.
As a volunteer with us, you'll have the unique opportunity to contribute to vocational training programs that empower individuals to break the cycle of poverty. Join our passionate team, be part of skill-building initiatives, and witness firsthand the positive change your efforts bring to the Bududa community.
But that's not all! We're also engaged in the Children of Bududa (COB) Program, providing essential support to orphaned and vulnerable children. Additionally, our partnership with Women's Microfinance Initiative (WMI) empowers women in the community through financial assistance.
If you're ready to share your skills, enthusiasm, and time to make a lasting impact, we welcome you to join the BLC family. Together, let's create a brighter future through education and empowerment.
