Help save Lives - Blood Drive/Blood Transport Help Needed! Blood is collected every day to help save lives...our partner, the American Red Cross needs blood transport drivers, public relations volunteers, hospitality volunteers and warehouse workers:

  • Public relations volunteers greet and orient donors through the blood donation process.
  • Hospitality volunteers serve refreshments at the donor sites.
  • Drivers transport blood products to regional blood centers and hospitals.

Your gift of time and commitment is urgently needed.

  • Volunteers age 55 and over: Free supplemental accident & liability insurance available thru RSVP - the volunteer program at Lifespan

AmeriCorps Seniors recruits and places volunteers over age 55 in activities that address critical community needs, eg. education, homeless, safety and security, health education, disaster preparedness,nutrition, hospice, health and wellness, and providing a better quality of life for others.
