Adoption events -- help setup the table, cages, interact with the public & help with showing the cats/kits that are looking for homes.
Help at the shelter house -- Scooping, deep cleaning, laundry, etc While this isn't a glamerous volunteer opportunity; it is one of our more pressing needs
Socialization of the kittens, shy adult cats -- sometimes just another person interacting with them makes alot of difference

Mission Statement
Cats Haven’s Mission: To provide a non-institutional shelter (no cages) for cats and kittens. Cats Haven was founded for special needs cats or kittens with birth defects, visual impairments, neurological problems, or medical issues or injuries that require veterinary care. Cats Haven strives to educate the public about available resources and proper care of companion animals.
Description
Cats Haven, Ltd pulls cats/kittens from open admission (kill) shelters that would be euthanized for health reasons.
Older cats are also accepted into Cats Haven, they come from open admission shelters, pre-arranged by their owners & sometimes left in carriers outside vet clinics
