Hello Animal Lovers!
HOPEFORCLEO INC., a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue, is on the lookout for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bookkeeping Volunteer. If you have a passion for animals and a knack for numbers, we'd love to welcome you aboard!
Responsibilities:
Record financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records
Assist in preparing financial reports and statements
Work closely with our treasurer and team to ensure financial integrity
Help with budget tracking and financial planning for the rescue
Qualifications:
Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field (experience with non-profit accounting is a plus)
Proficient in using accounting software (QuickBooks, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Passion for animal welfare and our mission
Time Commitment:
Flexible hours, approximately 5-10 hours per month (virtual or in-person)

Mission Statement
Hope For Cleo is an Incorporated, Non-Profit 501c3 Animal Rescue Organization in Long Island New York dedicated to saving abandoned and homeless animals from high-kill shelter situations. Our primary focus is on pregnant animals, nursing mothers, and underage orphaned animals who are most at risk in overpopulated shelters.

Are goals are to build a team of volunteers to help in Fundraising, Organizing Events, Helping with Digital Items such as SEO, Websites, Organization, processing foster and adoption applications, and doing home checks for a very young and excited Animal Rescue.
