Much of our programming includes the use of sport wheelchairs. We have approximately 32 chairs that need to stay in good working order. We are looking for volunteer support to help with the following needs:
- True wheels
- Change tubes and tires
- Fixing and/or adjusting axles
- Cleaning bearings
- Change out and/or clean straps, pads, etc.
Your help will ensure The Ability Center’s programming will continue to run smoothly. Volunteers should be confident using manual hand tools and have experience working on bicycles. Instruction and tools will be provided.
