We are seeking individuals who desire to sit with patients in their homes for a few hours allowing their caregivers to run errands, go to an appointment, or just get a much needed break!.
We are also seeking individuals who desire to visit patients in nursing homes for friendly visits. The patients may be lacking visitors and are in need of someone who will drop by and share in conversation with them.
Many of our Volunteers say they get much more out of volunteering than they give to their patents.

Description
Volunteering with Compassus is a rewarding way to enhance the lives of hospice patients and their families. You'll find companionship with fellow volunteers and joy in serving others. Some volunteers choose direct patient support while others work behind the scenes at the office or with the hospice team. All volunteers receive free training.
