Recruiting Organization: Tutoring Plus of Cambridge

Tutoring Plus seeks academic mentors for Cambridge youth, for 1 hour a week!

  • Volunteers are matched with students based on academics, volunteering site needs, as well as personality and other areas of interests.
  • For a minimum of one hour a week, volunteers meet with their students 1-on-1 for an engaging tutoring and mentoring session.
  • Volunteers can choose the day of the week (Monday-Thursday) and grade level that works best for them. Session start time (6:00 and 6:15) varies based on the volunteering site.
  • Volunteering sites are located in Cambridge, MA and are accessible by public transportation.

Volunteers will receive support on how to engage with our students and build relationships with them that will have a lasting impact.

Once your application is submitted, you will prompted to complete our required paperwork via DocuSign. Then, Tutoring Plus staff will follow up with you to hold a brief Matching Conference, so we can get to know you better and make an informed student-match!
