Mentors 4 College is seeking a passionate and experienced volunteer Fundraising Coordinator to play a vital role in the development and implementation of our capital campaign strategy. As a Fundraiser, your goal will be to obtain $40,000-$50,000 in your first 6-9 months and eventually grow funding to $100,000 annually. You will be responsible for reaching out to potential donors, developing marketing campaigns, and organizing events. This position requires effective relationship management skills, as our goal is to find new donors and encourage donors to renew their support. You will help lead our effort to obtain support from corporations as well as foundations. The successful candidate will contribute to raising public awareness about our organization and its initiatives.

Mentors 4 College is a passionate non-profit, all-volunteer organization committed to empowering and supporting students on their journey to higher education. Our mission is rooted in the belief that every aspiring student deserves free, personalized guidance and support during the pivotal college selection & application process. At Mentors 4 College, we strive to bridge the gap between ambition and achievement by connecting students with experienced mentors. These mentors play a crucial role in guiding individuals through the intricacies of the college application journey, offering invaluable insights, and serving as inspirational figures to help students realize their academic and personal aspirations. Through our unwavering dedication, Mentors 4 College aims to make higher education accessible and fulfilling for all, fostering a community where dreams are not only pursued but also realized. We currently serve 400 students in 127 schools across 17 states and the District of Columbia. We have also launched the Diversity 1000 initiative, aiming to expand our reach to underserved communities. To achieve this goal, we are seeking a dedicated Fundraising Coordinator to join our team and help obtain funding for our free services.
