Use your teaching skills to inspire the next generation at the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park! Expand your education background by volunteering with the National Park Service. This unique position will be working in the newly formed Lincoln Teacher Corps at Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park.


The Education Program Assistant will work with student groups, educators, and park rangers at the Birthplace and Knob Creek Visitor Centers, Memorial Building, and other locations within the park and local community. May vary with time of year (due to school field trips). Volunteer may also assist the Education Technician with content creation, lesson plans, planning special events, and other content and materials (this position will be virtual).
