Our Volunteers Make a Difference Every Day!
Did you know there are many ways for you to support your local public television and radio station? We have opportunities for short-term, long-term, or reoccurring service. AZPM Volunteers come from all different walks of life, but have many things in common, including: a positive attitude, a passion for public media, and excellent customer service skills.
Volunteer Duties:
- Assist and help AZPM say "thank you" to our members! Put together mailings or place phone calls to members to thank them for supporting AZPM.
- Represent AZPM at Special Events, Live Productions, Children’s Activities, and Member Screenings.
- Assist with a variety of tasks, including staff event booths and registration tables, take tickets and seat guests at screenings, promote AZPM membership, answer questions about AZPM programs and events, participate in children’s activities and readings, dress in a PBS character costume, help with event flow, and take photos as needed.
- Assist AZPM for Station Tours as a tour guide or tour wrangler, support your local PBS and NPR station and learn more about how we serve our community.
- May be asked to work standard operating hours and weekends

Arizona Public Media and AZPM are registered trademarks of the Arizona Board of Regents, which, for the benefit of the University of Arizona (UA), holds the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) broadcast licenses for all AZPM radio and television stations. AZPM is an editorially independent, not-for-profit service of the UA and is funded through the generous support of annual and sustaining members, the business community (through program underwriting), fee-for-service production activities, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and direct and in-kind support from the UA.
