The Volunteer Center is recruiting for Volunteer Events Photographers, Videographers, and Social Media Content Creators.
-The Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County features dozens of high-profile events throughout the year.
-As a volunteer, you will help showcase the dedication and hard work of volunteers and nonprofits who are transforming our community for good.
-Your work will be featured in Volunteer Center marketing and promotions, including public relations, print and digital media, and social media.
-You will have the opportunity to connect with community leaders and use your talent to support the culture of service that makes Santa Cruz County great!
-Volunteer shifts vary - we have numerous events and activities throughout the year. We are recruiting a pool of volunteers that we will notify when opportunities arise.

Skills Requesting
-Photography or videography experience at a student or professional level desired. -Amateur photographers with experience may apply.
-Familiar with standard editing software
-Ability to share photos and videos easily
-Understanding of basic composition for portrait and journalistic styles Must have own transportation
Professional experience in the field working with a variety of community members and civic leaders
Potential to have your work featured in local media

We offer 17 programs that engage young people, families, seniors, working professionals, and people with disabilities in meaningful service. We have the capability of connecting people with volunteer opportunities on the web, by phone or at one of our Centers. We additionally, partner with over 400 non-profits to find the perfect fit for your skills and interest. Our mission is to transform our community and ourselves through volunteerism, empowering everyone to be the difference.
