Our Garden Ambassador will act as a walk around greeter, giving directions to restrooms, the lobby, etc., and also will provide extra copies of maps. Garden Ambassadors will also be trained during exhibits about all aspects of the exhibit/artist to share with guests. These volunteers will ensure that guests are adhering to our Garden Etiquette policy, as well as, help to maintain safety throughout the entire Garden (Children’s Garden and trail areas included). Assist in cleaning and upkeep of garden signs (trails, directional, etc.)-supplies provided. Morning and afternoon shifts are available all days that the garden is open. One on one training is available upon request.

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a private, non-profit organization governed by a board of trustees. Mary Pat Matheson is the Garden’s President/CEO. ABG is located on 30 acres of land, leased from the City of Atlanta, adjacent to Piedmont Park. The Garden’s Mission is to develop and maintain plant collections for display, education, research, conservation and enjoyment.
