Music has the power to comfort and soothe people, reducing stress, tension and anxiety. At the hospital, we’re always looking for ways to care for our staff and patients and live music has always been an important part of healing. If you are a musician or Music-thanatologist and have a portal, non-electronic instrument (harp and acoustic guitar work well) and want to share your gift with our hospital community, sign up to volunteer today!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality music through the appropriate selections of songs and tuning of instruments.
• Work with the volunteer coordinator and caregivers to schedule visits throughout the medical center while maintaining flexibility for personalized referrals.
