Help by collecting donations of National Geographic magazines, knitted hats & scarves, work gloves, soap, shaving cream, toothpaste, cookies, coffee, and small holiday gifts to be distributed among hardworking men & women who earn their living far from home at sea.

Most Seafarers come from countries where there is high unemployment and the best way to care for their families is to work aboard ship for 6 months to a year at a time.

Mission Statement

Our Mission is to offer refuge, resources, renewal and respsect to the maritime community through multi-faith service.

Description

Seafarers' House is a multi-faith mission and hospitality center for crew members of ships that visit Port Everglades as well as members of the port community. Most who visit Seafarers' House want to make low cost calls on one of the more than 85 phones available or connect via our free wi-fi service. In addition, we offer a small store, free transportation, internet access, access to multi-faith clergy and safe money transfer service. Seafarers' House is open throughout the year as a safe, friendly place where mariners can connect to their families, relax, ask questions about the community, and get emergency help if needed.
