SAFE Worldwide and Friends of JACK Primate Sanctuary are two growing non-profits with a global outreach in wildlife conservation, focusing on endangered species and endangered primate conservation. We partner with small organizations around the world that help rescue wildlife in their environment and we work with local communities in those regions to provide conservation and educational programs focused on raising awareness against the bushmeat trade and illegal wildlife trafficking. Friends of JACK is focused on saving some of the most endangered primates in the world, including chimpanzees, mookeys and many others in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We also are creating an educational base on the topics of wildlife conservation, the environment, and the impact of climate damage to our planet.

Volunteer Position:

Searching for a part-time video content creator to help us generate beautiful and powerful educational and social media videos for Friends of JACK Primate Sanctuary, using much of our own content to raise awareness of the impact of illegal wildlife trafficking and seeking to grow our following by creating content to show our work there. Must have experience creating videos using your preferred software but using our content. Being able to use AI software is a plus, if we decide to use it. Must be able to add voice narrative, be creative and understand how music chooses help create videos that people will want to watch.

Ideally create 1 video every 1-2 weeks, 40 seconds to 2 minutes in length. Great opportunity for anyone wanting to get into filmmaking and/or creating documentaries or just apply video editing skills.

IMPORTANT: We take our conservation work very seriously. Please only apply if you are committed to dedicating 1-2 hours a week for at least 6 months to our organization. Also, please provide some background information on why you are applying and what experience you have in video editing. We will only respond (due to our heavy schedule) if you provide us some information on yourself and some examples of your work.

This is a volunteer position only.

· Organizing and conducting educational programs and initiatives in schools, through our website and within communities surrounding endangered species’ habitats, to foster the awareness and understanding that human survival is inextricably linked to the survival of other species.

· Working with wildlife researchers, conservation biologists, social-scientists, governments and community leaders to develop, implement and assess solutions focusing on the reduction of human-wildlife conflicts
