Volunteer Delivery Drivers would be asked to deliver one time each month between the hours of 9-4p. We would be asking for our delivery drivers to deliver Supplemental Foods Commodity boxes for the home bound elderly. Average delivery is between 10-12 orders, and will typically take between 30 minutes and an hour. Boxes typically weigh between 25-30 lbs a piece and we pay mileage.

Mission Statement

We are in search of volunteers willing to use their personal vehicles (mileage paid) to deliver monthly boxes of food to home bound elderly clients.

Description

We are a program that provides monthly boxes of food, at no charge, designed to be nutritious and to help our client stretch their monthly food budget. Our program has age and income restrictions to be eligible. We have a location that our clients can come shop and pick their groceries and we also offer deliver at no cost to our clients that may be home bound or have transportation issues.
