We assist individuals and families in the areas of advocating for social justice, boosting civic engagement, educational opportunities, healthcare access for all, and senior support services.

Job description:

THE POSITION: Unity for Equality is looking for a volunteer Press advisor/guest speaker willing to provide presentations and learning/info sessions to our small team of less than six interns. We want someone who is well qualified who can provide guidance for those wanting to join the industry.

Requirements:

• Public speaking
• Internet Access
• Ability to communicate verbally and written
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Strong writing & editorial skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred)
• Public Relations (2 years preferred)
• Content writing for blogs and newsletters

Responsibilities:

• Willing to act as an advisor
• Provide guidance on how to improve our Press department
• Create ppt presentations
• Assist with outreach initiatives

Work Location: Remote
