Mission Statement
Florida Dream Center inspires self-sufficiency by sharing faith through resources and restoring hope in communities.
Description
The Florida Dream Center is a 501c3 tax exempt, faith based nonprofit organization that takes resources and aid into at-risk communities. Our boots on the ground concept materialized as organizational leaders realized various pockets of service deserts existed in Pinellas County. FLDC programs foster stability and promote self-sufficiency throughout Pinellas County.
Since its inception in 2012, FLDC has worked with local organizations, government agencies, churches, and schools to collaboratively increase impact within the areas of poverty, hunger, social economic equality, community revitalization and gainful employment. Our programs are consistent and accessible as we work with our neighbors to empower communities, one person at a time.
Steve Cleveland, our CEO, envisioned an outreach-focused organization that incorporates community volunteerism with social services to meet the needs of the most vulnerable population within Pinellas County.
