Volunteers will help with animal husbandry including cleaning exhibits, preparing diets, enrichment activities, record keeping, and assisting with environmental enhancements.
We require that volunteers have proof of a tetanus vaccine within the last 10 years and a TB skin test within the last 2.
We will work with your schedule, although we ask that volunteers work a minimum of 16 hours per month. Staff is on grounds 7 days a week from 8AM-4PM.

Description
Lubee Bat Conservancy is located 10 miles north of Gainesville, and houses the largest living collection of bats in the world. Lubee places conservation and education as its two core institutional purposes. Local and global education programs connect children with nature, foster environmental stewardship, and inspire the next generation of conservation scientists to become leaders within their communities. Lubee is an Association of Zoos & Aquariums certified related facility.
