Physical Support

You are the support that is highly needed for the loved ones who have lost the closet thing to them. It's tough to expierence grief once a loved one has completed their journey and you're having a hard time understanding grief. As a Hospice Volunteer, you can continue the support by sending special letters to the bereaved and provide follow-up calls.

Not only with letters can you be supportive. There are opportunities to pick up Administraive skills by assisting the Bereavement Coordinator with filing, answering phone calls and providing new ideas for the Bereavement Program.

Experience with grief support and providing bereavement support is a plus.
