Mission Statement
NorCal Freedom for Paws’ (NCFFP) mission is to find "furever" homes for all surrendered pets to our Rescue. We are here when owners lose their ability to care for their animals and when the shelters are overcrowded or breeders are overwhelmed. We offer a judgment-free zone to all people and circumstances of surrendering beloved pets, breeding animals, abandoned or unwanted. We match these animals to potential adopters. We find loving fosters in the interim of adoption.
Description
NCFFP loves the poodle and doodle breeds! We love raising pups with ENS and puppy culture allowing them to be the best pups possible! We rescue dogs from shelters, owner surrenders or breeder surrenders. We work with various volunteer groups including Girl Scouts. Adoption events are held throughout the year at various pet stores in the Sacramento area. In the month of September 2023, NCFFP adopted 25 dogs during Pet Food Express' Virtual Pet Fair event! Our goal is to provide our adopters with the best pup possible - we provide crate training, leash walking, housebreaking, basic obedience training and socialization to all our pups.
