We need someone who wants to make a difference for our athletes - while running errands. You will be the locally based Assistant Finance Coordinator for Special Olympics Montana's Glacier Area and the boots-on-the-ground for the area's Finance Coordinator, while serving in a leadership position on the local board.

A Finance Coordinator manages all funds and accounts for the local teams and leadership while providing accounting and reporting related financial information. The Assistant Finance Coordinator works in cooperation with the finance coordinator maintaining the local team reimbursements and correspondence in accordance with current team budgets and activities.

Prior experience with finances and nonprofits is helpful, but not required. The ability to communicate openly and in a timely manner is needed.

New coordinator orientation ongoing training is provided by Special Olympics Montana staff. This is a volunteer, non-paid position. Allowable expense reimbursements are available.
