The Role:

Our CFO (Chief Financial Officer) is responsible for managing the building financial operations of the organization, ensuring the organization’s financial health and sustainability. This role will oversee all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies processes and controls that support the company's growth and mission
  • Provide financial guidance and recommendations to the CEO and executive team
  • Establish and manage financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes
  • Build and lead all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, and taxation
  • Monitor financial performance and provide regular updates to the executive team
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws
  • Work closely with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company's fundraising strategy
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team

Skills:

  • Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA or CFA certification preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience in building financial processes and controls from scratch is highly desirable.
  • NPO experience will be a plus
  • Experience in fundraising for social causes and NPOs will be a big advantage
  • Strong financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Passionate about the company's mission, vision, culture, and core values and committed to making a difference and the world a better place.
