We are looking for a motivated and creative Fundraising Director to help us organize an annual (or biannual) fundraising events. This year United Airlines has donated 2 roundtrip domestic airfare tickets that we need to auction off. We also have several items we will raffle off and would like to hold our first luncheon or dinner gala. Additonally, we plan on 2 to 4 large public fairs to offer our educational presentations.
Our focus is on setting up school apiary programs, supporting veterans and disadvantaged community through honey bee education.

Mission Statement
Hudson River Apiary Society is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit environmental action group focused on educating the public on the critical need to maintain a sustainable honey bee population by establishing a stable and healthy ecosystem through public, private and community organizations. We focus on teaching business solutions to create a sustainable honey bee-related company model. Current programs focus on education and business development. Using our knowledge and resources, we assist local organizations and individuals with establishing public and urban backyard apiaries. Our goal is to share these programs regionally with the general public, collaborating and partnering with like-minded organizations. With your help, we can accomplish our mission of raising awareness, educating, and helping the environment.
