The Global Development Catalyst Pro Bono Coach at CrowdDoing Pro Bono Coaching Collective specializes in guiding clients to contribute to sustainable global development goals. This role involves helping individuals and organizations to understand, engage with, and effectively contribute to global developmental challenges.

Role Description

This is a remote volunteer role for a Global Development Catalyst Pro Bono Coach at CrowdDoing. The Pro Bono Coach will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and guiding aspiring Global Development Catalysts. The Pro Bono Coach will provide thought leadership and help Global Development Catalysts build and execute scalable, collaborative solutions to address social, economic, and environmental challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate clients about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and global development issues.
  • Assist in identifying specific goals or areas where clients can have the most impact.
  • Guide clients in creating actionable strategies to contribute to global development, whether through business practices, advocacy, or direct action.
  • Provide resources and tools for effective international collaboration and project management.
  • Support clients in navigating the complexities of working on global development issues, including cultural, logistical, and regulatory challenges.
  • Foster a deep understanding of global interdependencies and the importance of sustainable development practices.
  • Encourage partnerships with international organizations, NGOs, and government agencies.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in global development.
  • Offer a supportive and confidential environment for exploring and refining global development strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in international relations, development studies, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of global development challenges and sustainable practices.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to inspire and guide clients towards impactful contributions to global development.
  • (Optional) Relevant certification or training in international development, sustainability, or related fields.
  • Strong Analytical and Communication skills
  • Experience in Software Development/Programming
  • Ability to connect with stakeholders and Sales skills
  • Strong Ethics and Accountability
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and guiding teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in Global Development is a plus
  • Knowledge of Social Entrepreneurship and Impact Investing is a plus

Flexible, based on client needs and coach availability.
