ORGANIZATION: Center for Early Intervention on Deafness

We at the Center for Early Intervention on Deafness (CEID) are looking for an English-Dari language interpreter to support our weekly virtual language classes, September 2rd and September 30th, and October 21st to December 16th.

This would be a minimum of one month commitment, one hour per week for Mondays from 6:00PM - 7:00PM PST. Other Arabic-English translation opportunities may exist in the future for other virtual or in-person projects.

Requirements:

  • Reliable internet connection for video calls
  • Access to Zoom application
  • Fluency in Dari and advanced proficiency in English
  • Quiet space during the classroom times

Possible other projects:

  • Translating emails
  • Translating event flyers or other notices
  • Translating documentations
