Sewers & Crafters: May take materials & patterns home to sew Happy Hats. We would appreciate completed projects be returned between 1 to 2 weeks. You are also welcome to decorate your hats in our facility or at home. You must be an experienced sewer and or crafter.
We will train you with all the specifics to make our exclusive Happy Hats, which
are sent to hospitalized children monthly throughout the United States and beyond.
You will be making a difference in the lives of these brave and courageous children's lives by bringing smiles to their precious faces and hearts.

Mission Statement
To ease the fears and anxieties of hospitalized children fighting cancer and other critical illnesses with gifts of whimsical Happy Hats and coordinating humorous, bi-lingual educational story/activity books. The kids learn that courage and bravery comes from within and each child is truly a "HERO". To shift the focus of the children and their families from discomfort and pain to heartwarming smiles and giggles. We remain steadfast in our commitment to serve children in 60 hospitals and their families throughout the South-bay and beyond.
Description
For the past 33 years Happy Hats for Kids in Hospitals, a non-profit organization, has been dedicated to uplifting the spirits and enriching the lives of hospitalized children with cancer and other critical illnesses as well as their families and hospital staff. Our volunteers make a great impact in bringing smiles and happiness to these kids through sewing and decorating our Happy Hats year around.
