A 58-year-old man with ALS and his wife have had a wonderful volunteer helping them out for the past seven months who is now unfortunately moving. They will miss her greatly and are hoping for someone else to provide support to them as she did. This volunteer was a particular support to the wife in terms of indoor organization, being available for random tasks as needed, etc. Some of the main tasks she'd love help with include cleaning (especially floors and moving items between upstairs/downstairs as she has a history of back injuries) She would appreciate a self-starter who is eager to jump right in and ask, "What else do you need?" She would also just appreciate having someone to talk to and be a companion.

Scheduling can be flexible based on what works for the volunteer: if you think you'd be a good fit to support a caregiver in this way, we'd love to hear from you!
