Mission Statement
Athena Home Health and Hospice strives to enable dying persons and those close to them to gain comfort and control over their lives, while neither hastening nor postponing death. We serve persons dying from any disease - in the home, in hospitals, and in other environments of their choice. Athena Hospice is committed to increasing access to hospice care for those who have traditionally been undeserved. Through hands-on assistance and teaching, we enable families and friends to care for those they love in supportive and familiar surroundings.
Description
Hospice care is about not giving up....it is about hope for people facing a life-limiting illness -- hope of living their lives free of pain, without fear and in the company of family and friends. The emotional and spiritual support we provide to patients and their families is greatly enhanced by the help of our staff and volunteers. We offer a supportive environment, friendly staff and a rewarding experience. In addition we now offer online training for your convenience.
