We are looking for childcare volunteers to help out during our SOUL Sisters groups! Occasional Saturdays in North Charleston, for ~2 hours (11-1), with lunch included. Join SOUL in showing love to these new moms and their children!

SOUL endeavors to create a safe haven that provides emotional support and spiritual encouragement as well as life management counseling, career skills, and financial assistance for expectant mothers.

Description

SOUL provides support, mentoring, and housing assistance for pregnant women and new moms in the South Carolina Lowcountry.
We are a faith-based ministry, empowering pregnant women with what they need to keep their child.

SOUL believes in the continued support of mothers through ongoing friendship. While working toward our goals of maternity housing and a tea room, SOUL provides:

SOUL Sisters
Faith-based Peer Support Group
We also give baby showers for pregnant members.

​ Housing/Rental Assistance
 For single pregnant women at risk of homelessness.
Currently in the form of rent and utility subsidies.

Mentoring and Classes
Faith and Research-informed Curricula:

  • Self-Care through Pregnancy and Parenting
  • Budgeting and Career Skills​​
