Meals on Wheels of Wake County serves over 1300 meals daily to seniors. We currently have the following volunteer opportunities at our Five Points Cafe in Raleigh. To volunteer you MUST fill out an application at the website below.
Wednesdays:
Activity Coordinator 10-11am
Kitchen Coordinator 1030-1230pm
Friday:
Activity Coordinator 10-11am
M-F:
Beverage Coordinator 930-1130am

To provide nutritious meals to the frail, homebound elderly & disabled citizens of Wake County in order to improve health, reduce isolation, & prevent inappropriate institutionalization & to serve nutritious meals and provide social & educational opportunities to persons 60 & over in congregate nutrition sites.
Description
Meals on Wheels of Wake County is a non-profit service that serves the noon meal Monday through Friday by home delivery or in congregate dining sites.
