Do you enjoy writing letters and want to provide a hospice patient with a feeling of connection? Do you have the gift of connection through words? We are looking for volunteers to provide hospice patients with a little piece of connection through a letter twice a month.
We will provide you with a list of names, ages and addresses each week or two for you to take the time to write a little note. Letters can include generic information about the weather, things that you used to enjoy doing when you were little, holiday traditions, or other uplifting things.
We do have an onboarding process that includes paperwork and a few video modules. You do not have to be located in Illinois in order to participate in this opportunity.
