Volunteers Needed

Liberty Hospice provides quality care and comfort to our clients and their families in a critical time of their lives. We are currently seeking patient/family volunteers to assist in providing care and understanding to the patient and family, make visits at regular intervals as per plan of care, and maintain confidentiality. Our patients reside at home and facilities throughout the area. The ideal volunteer would have good listening and communication skills, have respect for the hospice philosophy, and be willing to work as a team member. Please contact me if you have questions on what you may do to assist our patients.

We are also seeking willing individuals to offer office support in our Wendell Office throughout the week. This would include, but not limited to answering phones, office filing, and other tasks to assist the OST.

Come help us make a difference!

Description

Impact Someone’s Life

In addition to hiring staff members, Liberty Hospice Services relies on a compassionate corps of volunteers. As the demand for home care and hospice grows, our need for qualified caregivers and hospice volunteers increases each year. Our volunteers play an essential role in providing care for our hospice patients, and help those in need at a critical point in their lives.

Rarely does one have the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of another person or family, and volunteering for hospice offers that chance. Our volunteers have said they find the experience personally gratifying, intellectually stimulating, and emotionally meaningful.
