As a Crisis Call Advocate you will:
- on-call one weekend every eight weeks
- answer calls from police for high risk homicide victims
- provide phone support for these victims
- interface with local police and victim advocates
- provide safety planning, legal information, and resources to victim
Prior experience is not required! All new volunteers participate in a free training that meets Colorado's mandated requirements for confidential domestic violence advocates.

Description
Safe Shelter of St. Vrain Valley provides a comprehensive system of programs and services to address the needs of victims of domestic abuse:
Our services include, but are not limited to:
* 24-hour crisis line
* Emergency shelter
* Individual and group counseling
* Case management (including transitional housing programs)
* Information and referrals
* Legal advocacy
* Community and peer education
All services are available in both English and Spanish.
